Working with Catherine Clancy Garden Design, we redeveloped a steep, overgrown site into a functional family garden. The construction included new fencing, steel pergolas and edging, a raised deck and a living roof. Pathways and hardstanding areas were built to create clear routes, while raised walkways and self-binding gravel addressed persistent drainage issues caused by heavy clay soil.
Planting was phased across spring 2024, with wildflower turf giving quick seasonal impact and layered beds providing long-term structure. Catherine’s design set the framework, and our team ensured the detailing and construction supported its success.
This first phase established the core structure of the garden, providing a durable foundation for future additions.
